We’ve moved!

As requested, in an effort to reduce operating costs, we have secured a more affordable office location. Our office building is now shared with 3 other occupants, we are sub leasing from one of them. We have 2 separate, secure offices inside this building, but, we will need to adjust our operating practices. We will need to be respectful to the other occupants…this looks like coordinating with an Executive member before coming by, ensuring we don’t bring in dirty footwear, and monitoring our volume and conduct in common areas, and “being a good room mate” in general.

As of August 1st 2026, our new address will be;

110-1990 Ogilvie St

Prince George, BC

V2N 1X1

Statement on the August 22nd Explosion in Downtown Prince George

On Tuesday, August 22nd, one of our members was seriously injured while at work. It has been an extremely tough week for our membership. Our thoughts are with our colleague and their family as they navigate this extremely difficult time as well as everyone else who suffered injuries as a result of the explosion.

No one expects to go to work and be seriously injured. Incidents like this remind us of the importance of our commitment to creating a safe and healthy work environment.

Our immediate priority has been ensuring all CUPE 399 and 1048 members have the support they need and that will continue to be our focus in the coming days.
