Collective agreement
Our collective agreement sets out your rights and responsibilities in the workplace. If you have any concerns about your treatment, please talk to your/a shop steward or a member of the Executive board. Until the new agreement (2024-2026) is printed and distributed, please reference the previous agreement below, with additional signed green sheets and memorandum of agreement.

Bylaws
Our bylaws are reviewed bi annually to ensure compliance with any changes to the CUPE National Constitution. Any changes must be approved by the general membership, and CUPE National.
Benefits
Group Benefits
Group benefits are negotiated with the City of Prince George, during the Bargaining process. All benefits can be found in your collective agreement. ARTICLE 23- BENEFITS
Sun Life Financial is the provider of our benefits. Every member should be provided with a guide that provides information and services. This guide includes your contract and membership ID number.

Long Term Disability (LTD)
Long Term Disability benefits are fully funded by the members of Local 399 and Local 1048. The plan was brokered through WE Consulting and Benefits Services and was implemented January 2020. Each member pays their premiums, that are deducted through payroll.

Pensions
Pensions for CUPE 399 members are negotiated as part of the BC Municipal Pension Plan (MPP). If you have a question about your eligibility for the plan or about your entitlements and benefits, please talk to your shop steward or a member of the executive.
